Why Arc?
One asset for inference and network fees. Arc gives both sides a confirmed record of USDC settlement.
Built around USDC
Arc gives MPPI a settlement network built around USDC. Funding, provider payouts and network fees use the same asset, so the network does not require a separate volatile gas token.
Arc property / Why it fits MPPI
- USDC as the native gas asset
- Network fees are expressed in the same asset as inference payments. Circle sponsorship is a separate wallet service; it does not fund inference.
- Deterministic finality
- Arc documents sub-second finality at block commitment. Confirmed funding, capture and refunds provide clear chain effects for session accounting.
- Smoothed fee adjustments
- Arc smooths short demand spikes. Actual MPPI contract costs still depend on the transaction and network conditions.
- EVM contracts
- MPPI's Solidity contract, ERC-8004 identity and supported wallet integration work within a verified Arc deployment.
MPPI uses six-decimal ERC-20 USDC amounts. Arc's native gas interface uses 18 decimals; both interfaces share one balance. Arc's finality figure describes the network, not the end-to-end latency of an MPPI request or Circle wallet operation. Pending and unknown operations still need reconciliation.
